We make bags for people who actually use them. Bags that get dropped on courts, packed too full, shoved into overhead bins, and dragged across cities. We design and build them to take it.
When something does go wrong, we want to make it right. That's the Cancha Lifetime Warranty.
What's covered
Effective September 1, 2026. The Cancha Limited Lifetime Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship in new Cancha-branded bags and accessories purchased on or after that date directly from canchagear.com or an authorised Cancha retailer. In plain English, that means a failure caused by how the product was made, not how it was used. Examples include:
- zippers, buckles or hardware that break under normal use,
- seams or stitching that come apart,
- webbing or straps that fail at attachment points,
- fabric defects that arise during normal, intended use.
Coverage applies only to the original retail purchaser, is non-transferable and lasts for as long as that purchaser owns the product.
What's not covered
What's not covered
Our voluntary Limited Lifetime Warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear. Scuffs, fading, abrasion, softening and other cosmetic changes caused by ordinary use are not manufacturing defects.
- Accidents and misuse. This includes damage from drops, spills, overpacking, chemicals, improper cleaning, care or storage, and use outside the product's intended purpose.
- Damage caused by contents or third parties. This includes leaking bottles, equipment carried inside the product, animals, airlines and carriers.
- Unauthorised modifications or repairs.
- Loss or theft.
- Second-hand and unauthorised seller purchases. The warranty applies only to the original purchaser of a product bought from canchagear.com or an authorised Cancha retailer.
- Final Sale, Sample Sale, As-Is, B-Stock, Factory Second and Refurbished products. These products do not receive the voluntary Limited Lifetime Warranty and are not eligible for voluntary returns, exchanges or repair services. Any exclusion will be disclosed at or before purchase.
- Products with altered identifiers. We may be unable to verify a product if its serial number, batch code, care label or other identifying mark has been removed or made illegible.
These commercial exclusions do not remove any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights for goods that are defective, misdescribed or not of satisfactory quality.
How to make a claim
Step 1. Email us.
Send a note to hello@carrycancha.com with clear photos, a description of the issue and your order number or other proof of purchase.
Step 2. We'll review and respond.
We aim to reply within 24–48 hours. Please do not send a product until we provide written instructions. We may require the product for inspection.
Step 3. Repair, replace, or credit.
If we confirm a covered defect, Cancha may repair the product or replace it with the same or a reasonably comparable product. If a discontinued product cannot be repaired, we will provide store credit equal to the original amount paid for that product. Remedies remain subject to any rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Warranty shipping and customs
For voluntary warranty repairs and replacements, the customer is responsible for the cost of shipping the product to Cancha and the cost of shipping the repaired or replacement product back to them. The customer is also responsible for any customs charges or taxes arising from a warranty shipment. We will provide the address, shipping instructions and any return-shipping payment instructions after reviewing the claim.
This allocation does not apply where applicable law requires Cancha to bear a cost. Nothing in this warranty limits non-waivable consumer protection rights.
Why we do it this way
A lifetime warranty isn't a marketing line for us. It's a commitment to make products good enough to back, and to back them when we say we will.
It also means we have to design and build with the long game in mind. Better hardware. Higher thread counts. Joints that are reinforced rather than glued. The cost shows up in our spec sheets, and we think it shows up in how the bags feel after a few years of use.
If a bag is going to be used hard, it should be built to be repaired, not replaced. That's the standard we're working toward.
Common questions
Lifetime means for as long as the original purchaser owns the product. It does not mean the purchaser's lifetime or guarantee that the product will never wear out. Normal wear and tear is not covered. The full definition is in our Terms of Service.
The warranty is non-transferable and covers only the original purchaser of a bag bought from canchagear.com or an authorised Cancha retailer. We'd still love to help with a paid repair where possible. Email us and we'll see what's feasible.
Final Sale, Sample Sale, As-Is, B-Stock, Factory Second and Refurbished products do not receive the voluntary Limited Lifetime Warranty and are not eligible for voluntary returns, exchanges or repair services. This does not affect rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
If a covered product is discontinued and cannot be repaired, we will provide store credit equal to the original amount paid for that product.
For voluntary warranty repairs and replacements, the customer pays inbound and outbound shipping and any customs charges arising from the warranty shipment, except where applicable law requires otherwise. We will provide instructions before anything is sent.
If the retailer is an authorised Cancha retailer, yes. You'll need proof of purchase from that retailer. We keep an up-to-date list of authorised retailers; email hello@carrycancha.com if you're not sure whether yours qualifies. Bags bought from unauthorised distributors, resellers, or marketplaces are not covered.
We aim to respond to warranty claims within 24–48 hours. Repair and replacement timing depends on the issue, workshop capacity and product availability, and we will provide an estimate after reviewing the claim.
The warranty is tied to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. If you bought the bag as a gift, the warranty stays with the original purchase record, which usually means it stays with you (the buyer). Reach out and we'll sort it out together.
